Bored and tired at work so I decided to treat my self to the Asos Chain Handle Sequin Shopper, It looks like I got the last one because now its showing up as out of stock.

 

 

I must say nabbing the last one is oddly satisfying. Perhaps enough to make upfor my lack of valentines day plans

And when im bored and tired tomorrow i will have the delivery to look forward to :)

 

With all the hype about 80's clothes and music I was led to reminisce on my childhood (late 80s early 90s) and my love of the Jem and the Holograms cartoon which had me shouting out OUTRAGOUS and trying to paint my Barbie eye shadow around my eye in the shape of a star.

I then went on do discuss the sitcom with some friends to my surprise had  never heard of it, neither had many of my other friends, collogues and random strangers on the street.

Now I know I am not crazy because I defiantly had the doll, the videos and a blanket for bed (there are photos to prove it) and there are various fan sites online.

However I do not think I was some kind of apart from the crows trendsetter when I was like 6-7 and there was no internet so I must have found out Jem and the holograms from some where.

For those who don't know

The show centers on Jem the lead singer of  who is an upcoming rock group Jem and the Holograms

Now here's the twist

Jem is also the alias of Jerrica Benton,( Jerrica has the ability to transform to Jem and back again through her magic earrings. )  the daughter of a music executive who after his death, should rightfully be in charge of the company Starlight music.

help of a secret computer/hologram machine named synergy created by Jerrica's father, Jerrica and her sister Kimber and their friends created  Jem and the holograms to compete in popularity with another girl band called the Misfits which are managed by Jem/Jerrica's rival the evil Eric Raymond who is trying to control starlight music and get Jerrica out of the picture. Eric  has a crush on Jericas sister Kimber.

There is also the  never-resolved love story of Jerrica and her boyfriend Rio who just happens to be with Jem at the same time, but has no idea its the same girl.

Throughout the show the girls encounter many a sabotage plan, heartbreak and of course impossible dangers followed by even more impossible rescues with a kicky sound track and super funky outfits (heels of course) and lets not forget the spunky hair colors. Oh and lets not forget the rocking sound track!!

Unfortunately I wasn't in NYC long enough to go on the tour the last time I went which is a pity because I bet the tour guides would have had lots of insider info about the new movie.

Well I suppose going on the tour twice is enough……. Nah!

To recap:

I was meeting up with my hubby in NYC then going off to Vegas with him from there. I wanted to make sure that I looked effortlessly chic and fresh when I got off the plane as I hadn't seen him in months,

This is hard to do when you're stuck in a tiny space for hours on end.

One of my other problems is that I tend to get very cold on flights but hate to be constricted by clothing.

My flight day outfit consisted of:
   Thigh length V-neck sweater
   Leopard print vest top 
   skinny jeans
   Black leggings

   Flat knee high boots

   Light wraparound jacket

In my Marc Jacob Pan am travel bag I managed to fit the following essentials and still had room for the tons of magazines and snacks I purchased at the airport:

• Mini hand sanitizer
• Travel size Vaseline
• Tooth brush with travel case
• Travel tooth paste
• Travel mouth wash
• Travel container with my favorite moisturizer (E45)
• Small travel container with hair gel

• Nose canceling earphones
• Mac lip gloss
• Mac congealer
• Mac powder
• Mascara
• Wide tooth comb
• hair brush
• Passport/ passport holder.
• Vest top
• Slippers
• Travel sized deoderant
• small bottle of perfume
• VIRGIN AIRMILES CARD!!

Once we were in the air and the seat belt sings were turned off I rushed to the toilets where I took off my jeans, and make-up slathered moisturizer on my face and styled my hair in two pippy long stocking style braids.

I then went back to my seat where I kicked off my boots and donned my comfy puppy dog slippers, wrapped my self up in my slanket and actually managed to fall asleep (I am normally unable to sleep on planes)

I woke up just before we were about to land (You can get your husband or an airhostess to wake you) it was back to the toilet where I had a quick freshen up with the wipes, put on my clean vest top, brushed my teeth, applied some concealer under my eyes a light application of powder, mascara and some lip-gloss,   unbraded my hair leaving me with some sexy (just has a shag) waves.

may be behind with this news but I figured I would share it anyway I ve just fallen in with a Hot British shoe brand named Bourne who have been around since 2004.

I am soooo in love the Leona Boot  And the Cheryl shoe in hot pink

               Hi my name is wotshernameagain and I am addicted to wearing my UGGS

I love my Uggs because they are comfy and warm but unfortunately after a year of reliable service they getting a bit tatty and despite my instance do not actually go with any thing.

I knew I had a problem when I wondered out loud if I could get away with wearing them to a nightclub to my friends disgust.

In order to combat my addiction I am going to go cold turkey. No Uggs for a month. Turing this time I am going to pay extra attention to the many other boots, trainers and shoes that have been neglected through out the course of my addiction.

One of my pet peeves is when I see girls in clubs wearing

One of my pet peeves is when I see girls in clubs wearing sexy dresses and pumps! Now don't get me wrong a cleaver fastionista can make that look look fabulous and quirky but most of the time I feel these ladies look unfinished.

I have noticed that a lot of tall girls do this and its most likely because they are self conscious   of their height.

I my self am kind of tall 5"8 but don't mind because my boyfriend is like 6"4 so I always feel little next to him lol!

Yes they hurt like hell but they may your legs look great and gives you that sexy walk (Providing you can walk in heels)

Wow the Christmas period time is here already!!!

I still haven't brought one present yet!! I disgust my self.

Gots to keep ma out goings down as it Vegas at the end of January.

Still want to hit the clubs though, going to have to make all of my party clothes this year no more being lazy.
