Microcell Nail Repair….Try Me Kit Review

Isn’t it amazing how a fresh coat of nail polish can change the way you feel about yourself?
Due to a number of work and personal commitments I haven’t been able to go and get my nails done and normally me doing my own nails is a big no!
However when I was sent a MicroCell Try Me Nail Repair Kit Polish Varnish Remover from KLM Beauty to try out and then review my blog I thought why not.

In the MicroCell Try Me Nail Repair Kit you get the following

NAIL REPAIR 4.5ml –designed to strengthen weak and brittle nails in only 2 weeks!

NAIL WONDER 4.5ml – This little baby is a quick-drying top coat, a colour refresher, smoothing filler, and is meant to protect against peeling and chipping, as well as protect then nails

COLOUR & REPAIR RASBERRY KISS 4.5ml –Quick-drying varnish which also strengthens nails. FYI I love the colour!

NAIL REPAIR REMOVER 50ml – An acetone-free polish remover which is suitable for all nail types but is especially effective on weak, fragile nails

apply one layer of NAIL REPAIR on two consecutive days.
On the third treatment, day remove all varnish layers with NAIL REMOVER REPAIR and repeat the treatment as on the first and second day.

For best results the treatment should be carried out for 2 – 3 weeks then the  NAIL REPAIR can be used weekly as a base coat.

Simple enough right?

I managed to get through the process and I was pretty happy with the results. I am especially fond of the bottle of Nail Wonder which among other things acts as a ridge filler and helps protect against chipping and peeling.

The polish lasted just over a week without chipping which is good for me because I’m always soaking in a hot bath, never remember to wear gloves when I’m washing up the dishes and I type like a beast!
I did forget to remove the varnish on the third day of the treatment but since taking the polish off with the nail repair remover I have noticed an improvement in my nails which event though are naturally quite strong can be very dry.

I would definitely use these products again.

Shout outs to KLM Beauty for letting me try these lovely products.

Tips For Stress-free Shopping

In my youth I loved shopping and spending the day hitting the shops in the west end or at Bluewater was my idea of heaven.

Ahh the days when I had NO bills

Right Now I’m Loving…

Heres a few things I'm loving at the moment

Early nights
As I suffer from Lupus it feels like no amount of sleep is enough for me to feel properly rested however I have come to learn that it is the quality of sleep that matters. There is nothing like having an early dinner followed by a relaxing bath then going bed. No TV, no iPad no phone just time to download after a crazy day before drifting off to sleep.

What’s On My Summer Walking List?

What the hell is a walking list?

When I go on my lunch time walks or use the treadmill at the gym I like to listen to books on tape (Well technically it’s a book on an iPhone app) as they keep my mind occupied and actually make me look forward to going exercising.

Isn’t it time you made a budget?

When it comes to managing my finances I’m no Martin Money saver but after getting in a bit of financial stickiness I pulled in my belt, organized my finances and  I was able to not only get Debt free but purchase my own property.
I wish I could say after that it was happy ever after but unfortunately, this is not a fairy tale. After living with my parents two years in I am still getting to grips with my extra outgoings but this is where a budget comes in handy because it makes you see what you are spending and what you have left over.
It may seem difficult and to figure out simple ways to save money and how to use your savings to pursue your financial goals but it doesn’t have to be.

Before I went natural I wish I knew...

Looking back the past few years I can see a lot of changes in my life as well as my hair since I have gone natural, and while I have made loads of mistakes along the way, I treasure them for making me a wiser and savvier natural. There are a few things I wish I knew about earlier that could have made my journey less painful, so hopefully, insight from my experience will make your transition much easier.
